They are not common pork cracklings , but the premium version. They are called Duvan Čvarci, which would translate into Tobacco Pork Cracklings, because they resemble the shredded tobacco. They are soft, not hard as ordinary cracklings . They take longer cooking , frying and filtration until you get the bronze and gold . Then they split apart into a bunch of short fibers that are a real delicacy that does not exist anywhere in the world!

Hint : Hardly you’ll find them at any restaurant, but almost certainly you can find them at the market, in the area where the sale of meat delicacies is. Be quick, get there before 10AM, because they are gone very quickly.
